Residential Concierge (Staff Assistant)

Adding an extra touch of comfort, convenience, and luxury, a Tillinger’s Concierge Staff Assistant exceeds client expectations by executing Signature Service. A Tillinger’s Concierge Staff Assistant provides Concierge Supervisors/Lead Concierges with lateral support from the corporate office for shift coverage needs. The Staff Assistant is responsible for the overall satisfaction of residents and guests by offering warm and friendly assistance, providing convenient amenities, and executing daily tasks in accordance with resident requests and within the operational guidelines of each particular property.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute the duties and responsibilities of Concierge, Door Person, and Runner/Lobby Attendant, as required.
  • Assist Supervisors/Lead Concierges with coverage assistance.
  • Remain current on all policies and procedures of multiple properties.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of local area information at particular properties.
  • Identify opportunities to standardize operational and service techniques among multiple properties and communicate observations to Area Supervisor.
  • Follow emergency procedures as directed in the property manual.
  • Additional duties as assigned.


REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma/GED equivalent required. Associates/Bachelors degree, preferred.
  • 1-2 years experience in the hotel, hospitality, and service industries.
  • Positive, outgoing, and attentive demeanor.
  • Strong oral, listening, organizational skills, and written including proficient word processing and strong computer knowledge including programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to demonstrate a history of proven reliability and consistency.
  • Flexible schedule that permits desk coverage for call-outs and sick days.
  • This is an on-call position, with a guarantee of at least 32 hours per week. This role is full-time, qualifying for benefits after 90 days of employment.
