A Tillinger’s Resident Services Patrol representative works to oversee the physical structure of commercial and residential facilities consisting of three attached 12-story buildings with a combined 508 apartments, street-level commercial/retail space, underground parking, as well as a 6-story parking garage. The Resident Services Patrol enhances the luxury appeal of the property demonstrating the most refined “first impression” to the general public and prospective residents, providing assistance to visitors when necessary.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF RESIDENTIAL PATROL/SECURITY:
Continuously patrol and monitor the property (including cameras) throughout the entire shift – maintaining comprehensive record of visual inspections, actions taken, and conversations/discussions with residents/tenants – immediately reporting and addressing unusual activity.
Remain vigilant and alert at all times.
Ensure the security, safety and well-being of all personnel, tenants, visitors, residents, and premises.
Monitor and managing access control; ensuring authorization is provided prior to granting entry; ensure that policies and procedures are followed at all times.
Address trespassers and violators of property guidelines ensuring the immediate removal of said parties or violations as they occur.
Execute proper control and accounting for all building facilities.
Check-in frequently with retail tenants to monitor safety guidelines and address security concerns.
Provide daily bank escorts for deposits and change requests for garage.
Perform structured Detex tours and execute the tasks that accompany each tour.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive records for incident reports, radio logs, and Detex tours.
Resolve resident concerns and/or complaints in a timely manner and maintain comprehensive reports of actions taken.
Maintain property aesthetics by ensuring that trespassers and panhandlers are removed from the property.
Respond to emergencies in a professional and poised manner and provide assistance to emergency personnel; follow emergency procedures as directed in the property manual.
Provide traffic control assistance during events.
Maintain open and concise communication with the client, Tillinger’s Concierge Supervisor/Lead Concierge, and Assistant Property Manager.
Exercise proper judgment at all times.
Execute the basic capacity of a Door Person as required for cross departmental coverage support.
Assignments as directed by the Shift Supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
1-2 years experience in the hotel, hospitality, service, or security industry, preferred.
Positive, outgoing, and attentive demeanor.
Excellent surveillance and observation skills.
Ability to stand and walk constantly for up to an entire shift.
Strong oral, listening, organizational skills, and written including proficient word processing and strong computer knowledge including programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to demonstrate a history of proven reliability and consistency.
